3/28 - Wiz Khalifa @ the 9:30 Club

last night we were at the Wiz show over at 9:30. pre sale tickets were 15 and were goin for as much as 200 after the spot was sold out.
 i managed to cop a pair for 20 each, #shoutout to my girl Abeba for holding me down.
we got there late as idk what so we missed Yellawolf and the Kev The Hustler, but still were able to squeeze thru and get a decent spot....

and of course, we had that loud on deck

thoughts

sometimes, when im alone, i think.
i think about life. where i am. where i could be. where i will be.
when im alone i reflect on my decisions. my choices which have brought me to where i am now... alone.
see at times i feel like i know the entire world. and at times i feel as if im surrounded by people who i see but dont know. by people who see me, but dont know me.
its crazy how two people can go thru two completely different lives with eyes that have filmed different scenes, and for a single instance share a moment.
an experience. that soon becomes a memory eroded by time. which is nothing more than a series of moments we call the present. the moments in which we live.
i mean, we cant live in the past... and there is no way to live in the future. all we have is what is before us right now. and right now i am alone.

but sometimes, when im alone, i think...

Surgery Successful for Gang Starr's Guru

 

as you may have heard, Guru, one of the founding members of the legendary hip hop duo Gang Starr, was rushed to the hospital after suffering an attack caused by cardiac arrest this past weekend. as of this yesterday rumors had been circulating that the big homie had passed during a surgical procedure (Wikipedia had already listed him as deceased). however, his surgery was successful and sources say he is alive and well, hoping to make a full recovery soon. stay up homie.

the big homie Lil Wayne hits the big house in the AM. Radio stations across America have been blowin up with Weezy tributes all day as well as Twitter with @LilTunechi Re-tweets and "i love you's" appearing is everyone & they grandmothers timelines.

we'll see how a year without Wayne goes. many will miss him, and many will breath a sigh of relief, however his label has made every effort to make it seem like he isn't gone while he's actually gone, recording multiple videos and dropping a new mixtape recently. but until his release, imma send a prayer. stay up young.
