Durkl Fall/Holiday 2010 Preview Party 10/30

my man Lucas Pierce over at Durkl hit me earlier this week with some info about an In Store event the good folks at Durkl will be hosting this Saturday from 2 to 6pm, where they will be releasing their Fall/Winter Deliver 2 line with 15% off most pre sale products.
there will be live performances by DC's own Phil Ade, Inglewood's own Casey Veggies, most known for his single The Panties (below) and DJ Chubb E Swagg will be on the needles providing mood music for the ambiance.
so if you get a break from UMD or Howard's Homecoming festivities def roll thru Durkl this Saturday.

New Visuals: Lebron x Nike

"Should I be who you want me to be?"

That's the question LeBron James asks in his latest Nike
commercial. And no matter whether you're siding with
Cleveland or Miami in the squabbling about LeBron, this 90
second ad is funny, insightful and cuts to the bone.

Farewell Jaime Moreno

D.C. United and Jaime Moreno had announced 2010 will be the forward’s final year with D.C. United, but now that the final game in the 2010 season is here, it will be very difficult to say goodbye.
Having joined United during the team’s inaugural season in 1996, he has had a hand in every major trophy captured by D.C. Today marks the end of an incredible era in Washington. An era filled with joy, accomplishment and championships.
