Im buying a Ukulele

Last year, I was doing a semi decent job of teaching myself how to play the guitar, until the my roommates broke my friend Jabari's guitar (which im sure wasnt even his to begin with, but w/e).

Anyway i came across this video and its inspired me to pick up playing again. or learning. w/e. dude is pretty sick.

Rally for the DREAM ACT

so last week there was a large movement of students across the nation that came to DC to take a stand for the DREAM ACT. It was a two day event that occurred at both the Senate Building and the White House where students came and let their voices be heard.

Many of the students that had come down were undocumented themselves and were directly affected by the legislation and meeting these kids was amazing, just hearing their stories and what they want to do, where they want to be, all that. i hope they get a chance to accomplish those things.

it was cool seeing young people come together and mobilize like that and im glad i can say i was a part of it.
