It has been about a week since Urban Cartel dropped their highly anticipated album Cassette Music, and although the album was available to the public for free, the amount of downloads this album has had is tremendous.
It has been a while since we've heard from the big homies in Urban Cartel, but the band has definitely been putting in work all year, performing at shows left & right as well putting together this project, but let me tell you right now, Cassette Music was definitely worth the wait.
The band delivers a 12 track experience with Cassette Music. You can definitely expect the same level of sonic enjoyment you came to love in Sounds From the Red Line, with a few twists here and there, such as Ska and Jay Dilla vibes.
I love that these guys are continuing to blend many different musical ingredients to form the perfect musical soup.... and thats exactly what Cassette Music is... Flavor for your ears
